WHAT ARE THE HOT FEATURES AND WHY TO BUY???

  • BlackBerry keyboard with keys for optimal typing, a 2.8” touchscreen and trackpad for easy navigation
  • BlackBerry 7.1 OS, which features an updated interface that lets you swipe to unlock the phone or access the camera from the lock screen, as well as additional enhancements
  • BlackBerry Messaging service is hot
  • The device features a dedicated BBM key and BBM Voice
  • The latest version of BBM, which features BBM Channels, will also soon be available for download on the BlackBerry World storefront, said the company

It will be interesting to see how the phone is received by users considering it doesn’t run on BB10. Potential BlackBerry users have complained about the lack of any new devices in the sub-Rs 20,000 segment but it remains to be seen whether the older OS still has any mojo left considering BlackBerry itself is focusing most of its efforts and marketing on BB10.
