The launch of OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro is just expected to launch tommorow on May 14, 2019 and there is lots of leaks and rumor are doing rounds on Internet. The design of new phone and price have been already leaked from quite a some time and it expected that OnePlus 7 Pro is going to be a powerhouse.

OnePlus is all gearing up to launch new smartphones tomorrow, May 14. The high end OnePlus 7 Pro and regular the OnePlus 7 will be showcased simultaneously at the press events in India (Bengaluru), United Kingdom (London), and the United States (New York). The tickets for the event has already been sold out within a week when it was opened for booking last month and it can be pre-booked in India on Amazon.in. The live event can be watched through the official OnePlus YouTube channel from 8:15 pm Indian Standard Time (IST).

There is a lot of buzz in the fans about the new OnePlus 7 series smartphones as many think that it will be a superior alternative in terms of both specification and price – when compared to the $1,000 flagship phones. OnePlus 7 Pro is foretasted to be a huge hit because it comes up with high end features and latest technology similar on the lines of Apple and Samsung.

A day ahead of the launch, official cases for the new OnePlus 7-series devices have also been leaked. The case for regular OnePlus 7 will come in Nylon, Sandstone, and Silicon Red finishes. On the other hand, the cases for OnePlus 7 Pro will be available in Karbon Black, Karbon Grey, and Sandstone colours.

The 6.67-inch bezel-less OnePlus 7 Pro with a 90Hz display will come in three different variants in India. The base model is expected to have 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It will be priced at Rs 49,999. The other two variants- 8GB RAM and 256GB storage and the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage- will be priced at Rs 52,999 and Rs 57,999 respectively.

As far as the optics is concerned, OnePlus 7 Pro will have a pop-up selfie camera. At the back, there will be triple vertically aligned cameras with a 48-megapixel, a 16-megapixel, and an 8-megapixel sensor. The phone also has an in-display fingerprint scanner.

The normal OnePlus 7 will be eyed aa successor to OnePlus 6T and will have a smaller 6.41-inch display with a water drop notch and a dual-rear camera with one 48-megapixel sensor with f/1.7 aperture and another 5-megapixel depth sensor.

One Plus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro mobile phones will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC. For connectivity, OnePlus is expected to come with USB Type-C port on both new models. Additionally the OnePlus 7 Pro will also have a 4,000mAh battery with 30W Warp Charge support.

OnePlus CEO Pete Lau had said in an interview with The Verge that the new OnePlus 7 Pro device will include a significant display upgrade and a 5G option. Lau also said that the company is spending over three times as much on its display this year than on previous models. This spending would naturally trickle down to the customers. Lau also called the new device beautiful and added that it was fast and smooth. “Excited to share the next product from OnePlus will unleash a new era of Fast and Smooth. Especially Smooth! Smooth is more challenging than Fast – a true test of hardware and software. The new product is just beautiful – I can’t wait for you to see it!” he had said.

It was first rumored in initial stages that new Oneplus series will come with inbuilt 5G Technology. But later on it was reported that it will not have 5G support and faster refresh rate, the phone would still be more expensive as it would be the first OnePlus device with a triple camera setup, stereo speakers, curved edge display, Qualcomm’s latest chip and pop-up selfie camera.
