Sony Xperia Z2 announced & marks a World-wide launch by March.

Sony has announced its follow-up flagship to the 2013 Xperia Z1, and in the spirit of linearity it’s dubbed the Xperia Z2. The new device enjoys a larger 5.2in display with a few tweaks for better image quality and an upgraded Snapdragon 801 processor with an extra 1GB of RAM, bringing it up to a zippy 3GB.

It’s also running Android 4.4 KitKat with Sony’s own UI software on top and this has had a bit of a visual revamp in-line with Google’s latest face-lift. The battery is bigger at 3,200mAh and the camera can now capture 4K video.

Z2 will also features Camera applications such as Info-Eye, Timeshift-Burst and AR Effect which can be useful in many scenarios. Info-Eye allows the user to get useful information about the object, Timeshift-Burst captures 61 frames within 2 seconds which gives a selection of photos to choose from and AR Effect adds fun animations on your image capture.

The device sports a 5.2” full-HD display, 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, 3 GB RAM & a 3,200mAh battery.
The camera too is a 20.7MP unit that can shoot 4K videos & will also record slow motion videos at 120fps(720p) added up with features like IPX5 /IPX8 waterproof rating & IP5X dust proof rating.
